Wow what a surprise, best soul food I've had in south MS by far. The seasoning is quite aggressive (spicy!) but doesn't cover up the freshness of the shrimp and catfish. The meat was on point, tender but not falling apart. Sides didn't have that canned/processed taste that you find at most other plate lunch spots. Yummy banana pudding...not too sweet or heavy. Jeff at the register and the ladies at the buffet were super nice too.

Soul food! Very delicious! It’s served cafeteria style or you can order off a menu. I got the “junk pot” (shrimp, potato, sausage, turkey neck) with rice and beans! It was all tasty, hot, and everything was clean. This is a casual dining experience. My meal with a large drink was $16. I’ll come back.

This place might be the best restaurant in Brookhaven. It's like walking in to your grandmothers house on a Sunday. My favorite day is Thursday. They do pit bbq. It tastes like family cookouts when I was little. I really just love it there. The food is always delicious and everyone that works there is very nice. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

About today's Ride to Eat.. The food was delicious and the southern hospitality was worth the ride. The staff was very courteous and helpful when trying to make food selections. All of the food looked delicious but you can only eat so much. Everyone loved their selection and the portions were worth the price of the meal. The group will definitely return, especially since everyone enjoyed their meal and the atmosphere was nice. This place is definitely worth the ride.

Awesome local restaurant to get such delicious home cooked food from to eat! Service is great. Boss and workers are very respectful to all their customers, including me!

I have never eaten here but I see the reviews are great. I came home for a funeral and my son and I were headed back to Texas. He had a flat tire and stopped at a tire shop. We struck up a conversation with a guy who happened to be the owner and he invited us to the restaurant for a free fish dinner. We went but it wasn't open yet and we had to get one the road. I appreciate his offer and whenever I come home to McComb he has a customer for life. Thanks from my son and I.
